About

The Rosetta Stone and the Parthenon sculptures draw the queues, but wander past them and entire rooms sit nearly empty even at peak times. General admission has been free since the museum opened its doors, donations are welcomed but never demanded. The Great Court under its glass roof is worth a stop even with only twenty minutes to spare.
