Code of Conduct

All attendees, speakers, organisers and venues are required to agree with the following code of conduct. We, the organisers, will enforce this throughout each meet up and expect cooperation from all participants to help ensuring a safe environment for us all.

TL;DR: Be kind and generous to each other.

We are dedicated to providing a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, or religion.

We will not tolerate harassment in any form. Furthermore, sexual language and imagery are not appropriate for any part of the experience – including, but not solely, talks and social events, social media and other online forum under the control of // TODO London.

Harassment includes offensive verbal comments related to gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, religion, sexual images in public spaces, deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of talks or other events, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention.

Participants asked to stop any harassing behaviour are expected to comply immediately. Participants who continue to violate these rules may be sanctioned, or expelled (without a refund), at our discretion.

If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, please contact a volunteer or organiser immediately. We will identify ourselves at the beginning of each event.

We will be happy to help participants contact security (if available) or local law enforcement, provide escorts, or otherwise assist those experiencing harassment to feel safe for the duration of the meet-up

This code of conduct was influenced by the UIKonf code of conduct and they deserve full credit. We looked to them for inspiration since they run an incredible, and unique, conference and have achieved a great level of diversity.
